Professional Poker Players
Career profiles of the players who defined the modern game - ranked by lifetime live tournament earnings.
The names below are the pros who show up at high-roller final tables, on the Hendon Mob's all-time money list, and in the news week to week. Earnings figures come from verified live tournament results - Hendon Mob, GPI, and official WSOP/WPT records - and update whenever a profile gets a material refresh. Online earnings (which are enormous for several of these players) aren't included because there's no universally trusted public database for them.
Each profile covers career trajectory, signature wins, playing style, off-the-table ventures (training sites, books, podcasts, businesses) and the moments that made each player matter to the game. Some of them you know from the WSOP feature table (Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu). Others you know from high-stakes streams or the GTO-era training scene. A few you might not recognise by name, but you should.
Rankings here are a reasonable starting point, not a definitive leaderboard. Earnings tell part of the story - longevity, influence on how the game is played, and wins at the hardest fields tell the rest. Browse by tag or follow the live tournament news if you want to see who's running hot right now.
